Join our visiting watercolor instructor for a laid-back one-day workshop. Learn to express your creativity by applying blending techniques to create a soft, natural feel in your painting. Explore multiple techniques for painting from grayscale to full color. Perfect for beginning to intermediate students, but open to all skill levels. Students are encouraged to bring their own supplies, but it is not required and materials will be provided as needed. Recommended supply list if bringing own materials: Watercolor tubes: Winsor & Newton Cotman in 6 assorted colors. Watercolor paper: Strathmore 400 pad, 9×12, 140lb. cold press Brushes: Synthetic sable, flat 1/4 in or larger rounds #2 and #8 Watercolor divided palette Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (1-day workshop) August 8 Open to high school students and adults.
