Join Hive & Petal and Stella J Designs for a fun evening creating your own dried flower arrangement using locally grown flowers! Catherine will share a little about growing and drying flowers, including some of her favorite varieties and tips for preserving their color and texture. Franklin of Stella J Designs will then demonstrate how to design a beautiful dried flower arrangement, sharing his tips and tricks for working with different shapes, colors, and textures. After the demonstration, it's your turn to get creative! You'll have a wonderful selection of dried flowers to work with, grown right here in central Iowa. Franklin will be there to offer guidance as you put together your own unique vase arrangement to take home and enjoy. We'll start the evening with light refreshments, and a chance to visit with fellow flower lovers before getting into the hands-on portion of the workshop. Whether you're coming with a friend or joining us on your own, you're welcome! All materials are provided, and no floral design experience is necessary. Just come ready to learn something new and have a little fun!
