Kaylen Dwyer, Digital Humanities Librarian, KU Libraries Join us for a hands-on workshop on using chat-based LLMs for computational literary analysis. While AI-generated summaries are framed as a study aid, collaborator, analyst, or an object of critique, most applications shift engagement to analysis of LLM output, rather than literary texts. We will demonstrate how distant reading methods can ground conversational AI in the text and help you reach your own interpretive conclusions. This approach is welcoming to beginners and a playful way to explore a small corpus. No programming experienced required. Please bring a laptop. Register here
