We're looking for 15 student-led, community-engaged projects to fund and support this academic year! If you're passionate about social change, working with others, and growing as an engaged, global citizen-- you may be an excellent candidate for the 2026-2027 cohort of Trailblazers. The Center for Service Learning established the Trailblazers Mini-Grant & Cohort Program in Fall 2025 to promote student leadership development while partnering with the community on projects that work towards social change. Applications close September 4, 2026 and those requirements are listed on our website. This information session will include a formal presentation to provide a program overview, impact report and lessons learned from last year's cohort, and reflection questions to support a successful application and project. Next, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about identifying potential advisory board members and community partners. The remaining time will be informal, unstructured time to work on application materials with CSL staff present. Register to attend on KUEngage.
