SUMMARY:MPO Technical Advisory Committee
DESCRIPTION:The MPO Technical Advisory Committee provides provide technical support to the Lawrence – Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Organization and to assist it in carrying out the Continuous\, Comprehensive and Cooperative regional transportation planning process throughout Douglas County. The Committee works to assist the MPO staff in preparation of the Unified Planning Work Program\, the Metropolitan Transportation Plan\, and the Transportation Improvement Program.\nThe committee also works to coordinate the development of regional transportation planning activities and provide technical critiques of products and processes associated with regional transportation planning for the L-DC MPO metropolitan planning area.\nMeetings:  Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month\, unless otherwise noted\, in the Lawrence Public Library Meeting Room A at 2:30 pm\nStaff Contact:  Jessica Mortinger – jmortinger@lawrenceks.gov – (785) 832-3165
