Join us each month for a film screening and conversation, led by students, faculty, and community members who help explore the ideas, histories, Learn more! Watch Fancy Dance, a film exploring Native identity, family, community, and the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives. Deidre Backs, KU Professor of Film & Media Studies and a producer of the film, will share insights from its making. Enjoy food from Wadulisi’s, sponsored by KU’s Office of Sovereign Partnerships and Indigenous Initiatives, and stay afterward for discussion. All members of the Jayhawk community are welcome!
