Baxter Arena seats up to 7,898 with more seating available on the floor. It has 17,000 square feet of space with capability for basketball, volleyball and ice sheets. Operated by University of Nebraska Omaha, Baxter Arena is the home of Omaha Mavericks hockey, basketball and volleyball teams, as well as a variety of community events. With an emphasis on hockey, the facility offers two separate ice sheets–one in the main arena and the second as a practice facility.
